Ideas In SID

My First Thoughts:

When i first came into this class all I knew was that I was going to do something on sports. I didn't know exactly what it was that I was going to do. When I found out that we actually got to make video packages that we go out and film I liked the idea. I liked getting to go interview athletes from a different variety of sports. I felt like my writing needed a little more improvement, rioting stories about the athletes and what achievements they accomplished. So when i learned that we could do a video interview instead of writing a story on them that as better for me. I learned that I was better at coming up with interesting questions to get the person I'm interviewing to get good answers.

Feature Story:

One of my first interviews on camera that I did was Cameron Gueldner. Jackson and I were paired up together. I wrote the questions to interview her and we got some really good footage of Cameron running Cross Country and I got good shots. I learned how to get shots that were relevant to the story I am trying to tell.

Cross Country:

The sport I was assigned was the Cross Country Team. With this sport I had to go out and get footage of them running then come back and make a story the following week. For this I had to get good shots. For this I had to learn how to get good and interesting shots to tell a good story. I think that I learned how to get shots to tell the story.

Camera:

I had to learn how to hold the camera the right way. I had to learn how to make the camera less shaky and figure out how to fix the brightness. I think that I finally learned how to get the right amount of brightness and how to make it less shaky.

My goals:

One of my goals is to learn how to use final cut pro. With the ability of knowing how to use final cut pro I would be able to make more videos and interviews. My other goal is to learn more features on the camera. I think that it would be cool to, when making videos learn how to do more things with the videos that I am shooting.
